Every Christmas Eve I stay in my little town with my friends. I think it so monotonous doing every year the same thing. I tried to decide another plan to make with my friends.
After many proposals and arguments, we thought we should make separated plans. Maria found a restaurant so luxurious. It calls “Mar de bamboo”, and this special night organize a disco with electro, house and pop music.
Mar de Bamboo seemed so big and glamorous, and we agreed with tickets’ price.
So, finally, only four friends, who are 18 (because being of legal age was essential) and wanted to boogie, bought the tickets. We were so lucky because the price increasing rapidly and the tickets were too expensive.
I was very excited! I’ve never been in a place like that. Boys must suit up and girls wear a dress. Everybody must wear formal clothes. So I went to choose one for the night.
My unique gay went with me to make this difficult decision of what it is the best dress. Finally I chose a red one, sexy and glamorous at the same time and black heel shoes. My mum worried, bought me a hair jacket, it reminds me a bear.
The awaited day arrived. A friend who is hairdresser made me a nice hairstyle. At 20:00 p.m. I put on my dress and the accessories. We went a Valencia by Ana’s dad car.
Before the disco we had dinner in a cheap buffet with my flatmates. Thirty minutes to midnight. We must be fast. We took a taxi to city’s port where the disco was situated.
We arrived and a lot of were waiting in a long queue. All young people were very nervous because it was 20 minutes to midnight and also because many people aren’t 18, so they weren’t sure if they could enter.
We could enter at the time. Great!
The place was smaller than we thought. My surprise was that a lot of friends decided to go there too.
The night was so amazing, and the company too. And everybody said: “You look very nice”
It was the perfect end of the year!
